For the overall price, this is certainly one of the most powerful air rifle products in its class. Certainly a testament to the craftsmanship and design of this rifle, this is a very impressive velocity.
The power for this weapon was calculated at 17.5 FPE at the barrel, which more than exceeds the standard 12 FPE minimum requirement that is usually for small game hunting air rifles.

Price & Overall Value

The current price for the Crosman Optimus .177 does vary depending on the retail outlet where it is sold, but it’s currently on sale for around $90 on (44% OFF). Typically, this rifle does sell for roughly $100 to $120, perhaps more again depending on where it is sold.

Considering its overall craftsmanship, performance and quality, this is certainly one of the lowest priced of the high power air rifles on the market today.
